So this is a bit delayed as I got this post ready but forgot about it and typing it up T0T/
Sooooo on Monday I had the lovely Ellen round to visit, we've been talking about meeting for a while because we live so close and Monday finally happened!! She ended up coming up to mine for the day. We had a lot of fun just chatting, playing a video game a bit and I also did her hair for her!
I needed practice for doing hair sets, and Ellen's been spying on all the big poof of the Black Diamond gals ;D So it just had to happen!! This was the result:
It was quite interesting being able to do a hairset on Ellen's hair! She
actually has a section underneath at the back shaved short, and her
hair is much longer at the front than the back, so the first challenge
was working out what to do with it! I settled on at first just making
the back as big as possible then worked everything around that! I am
very pleased with the result as it's been so long since I've had any
practice. I'm sure you can see from the images that there are a few bits
that have stayed too straight, gone the wrong directions etc, but I
don't mind as I know to make sure to work on that next time!
I had such a good day just having her to chat too and stuff T0T/ I can't wait til we can arrange something again!!
Also on Monday I got a lovely gift in the post from a really close friend of mine Shellei! She's actually been there to support me so much in the past year and I'm always so grateful to have a wonderful friend like her T-T/ We've decided from now on to send some letters and gifts to each other more regularly (which I adore because I love post T0T!) So Monday I received the first one.
The game Bayonetta and a lovely little note *0*! I've actually been
wanting a few more games for my xbox and she has surprised me with this
one. I'm only about 30ish minutes into the game so far and I already
love it! I was actually a little worried as I'm normally quite poor at
games like this but from what I've done so far I think I can get used to
it fast! I love it so much already.
I've been sorting out her little parcel for her and her super cute little daughter this week! Ready to post out to her next week~ Including an extra present which I will mention and tease her about ahaha!
Also you may have noticed on the top of the blog I have a timer for Disneyland >__> That's a birthday thing and I'm hoping to do a separate Disney entry soon!!
